2026 Scroll Calendar

2026 Scroll Calendar
I have been making my scroll calendar since 2005, and has become an annual tradition for so many people to buy them for themselves and to give as gifts. The 2026 design was inspired by watching birds in my community garden hungrily feasting on wild sunflower seeds. It brought me so much joy to watch them hopping amongst the sunflowers and wanted to share that feeling in the calendar.
The calendar begins with a drawing that is transferred to linoleum, hand carved, rolled with ink, and printed on to paper. After printing the block onto paper, it's then scanned into the computer where the dates are added. The final calendar is printed in a limited edition of 500 onto an off white recycled paper that hangs from a ribbon strung through a metal grommet at the top of the paper. A dowel is glued to weight the bottom of the calendar for hanging. They will arrive tightly rolled and and tied. To relax the calendar, roll it face down over a clean counter, or reverse roll it, then hang and enjoy it all year long!
Finished size is 8" x 26" , a great size to hang on skinny walls between doors or windows, to brighten up your cubicle, or anywhere you like!
These calendars are great gifts for the holidays or any occasion. I have been making my block print scroll calendars since 2005 and I love hearing from people how they look forward to seeing the new calendar, or how hard it is to take the old one down. Since they are so popular, the calendars often sell out! A few years ago a woman was panicked that I had nearly sold out of them, since she had painted her kitchen to match my calendar!
