In the spring as I was preparing my garden beds for planting, I accidentally uncovered a nest of baby rabbits snuggled safely under the earth. This suddenly put me into a new role as a protector and care giver for these five precious babies! I fashioned a little tent for them where their mamma continued to visit in the evenings. My heart ached for them in their vulnerability and innocence and it brought me so much joy to watch them develop and open their eyes to the new world. For a couple of precious weeks I had the unique opportunity to watch them grow and successfully leave the nest. In this print I wanted to portray my brief time with these five baby rabbits and inspire others to protect and care for all of nature innocent creatures.
